Crypto Algebra is committed to respecting your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and its amendment, the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). This page explains how these laws apply to our informational website and how you can exercise your rights.

Scope and Applicability

This CCPA Compliance page applies to all users who are residents of California. While Crypto Algebra does not require registration or collect personal information through accounts, we may automatically collect certain data via cookies, web analytics, and server logs as part of our standard website operations.

While we do not sell personal information for monetary compensation, we may use cookies and analytics tools that involve data sharing with third parties for advertising purposes.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: You may exercise your rights without being denied goods or services, charged different prices, or provided a different level of service.
  • Right to Authorize an Agent: You may designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf, provided they submit proof of valid authorization.

How We Comply

Crypto Algebra does not maintain user accounts or store personal information in a database. We collect only limited, non-identifiable data such as IP addresses (anonymized), browser type, pages visited, and cookie identifiers for analytics and site functionality. We do not sell personal information as defined under CCPA/CPRA. We honor all verified opt-out requests and do not retain personal data longer than necessary for operational purposes.

Data We Process

Under CCPA/CPRA, the following categories of personal information may be collected:

  • Identifiers: IP address, cookie identifiers
  • Internet activity: Pages visited, time spent, clickstream data
  • Commercial information: Data related to your interactions with our content and tools

No sensitive personal information (e.g., SSN, financial account details, precise geolocation) is collected or processed.

Legal Basis for Processing

Our processing of data is based on legitimate interest to provide and improve our informational services, ensure website security, and analyze user engagement. We do not rely on consent for data collection under CCPA, as consent is not a required legal basis under this law.

How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise your rights under CCPA/CPRA, please submit a request via email to [email protected]. Include your full name, California residency confirmation, and the specific right you wish to exercise. We may ask for additional verification to confirm your identity.
